Osceola County is one of the most diverse and eclectic areas in Central Florida. Driving from the southern tip of Osceola County at Yeehaw Junction northward you will pass ranches with cattle, fields for as far as the eye can see, beautiful state parks, vast lakes, then the bustling city of Kissimmee, and ending at the edge of Disney World in Celebration. The county name Osceola came from a Seminole warrior leader who had a rich history of leading raids against the Army around the 1820’s. The close proximity to Disney World attracts many tourists to the area creating tremendous growth in both local and corporate businesses. While Disney is a great place to make dreams come true, there are many other fun treasures in Osceola County that residents enjoy on a daily basis. Whether you enjoy shopping till you drop at The Loop, taking wild tours on an airboat, buying fresh produce at the local farmers market in Celebration, or just sitting back and having a tasty meal at one of the many fine restaurants, Osceola County has it all.
